EUROPE TRIP 2023
Nice, France
Finally, I reunited with my friend after he concluded his exhibition in Milan. As we journeyed towards Nice, France, he was on the verge of completing the entire series of Harry Potter movies. It amuses me that he has never actually watched Harry Potter throughout his entire life. I mean, it's Harry Potter!
During our six-day stay in Nice and the surrounding towns, half of the time was graced by sunny weather, while the other half was less favourable. The culinary journey proved to be quite astonishing, particularly with the local cuisine recommended by my friends. However, there were some dishes that didn't quite appeal to our taste, possibly influenced by the changes post-COVID. Nevertheless, on the whole, I've found myself gradually falling in love with France.

Point de vue Colline du chateau
The day we hiked up to the Point de Vue Colline du Chateau was marked by wind and clouds. Nevertheless, the effort was worthwhile as it afforded us the opportunity to appreciate the view of Nice from this vantage point.
Culinary Delight
This is the finest banh mi I have had in recent years.
This hot chocolate stands out as the thickest I've ever indulged in, served at a charming establishment in the heart of Nice named "Gina." Interestingly, it appears that the drink's consistency might be influenced by the prevailing weather conditions.
Flea Market
As I've mentioned in my previous travel experiences, I have a penchant for exploring flea markets in different cities. However, the Sunday flea market in Nice was rife with counterfeit antiques, prints, and posters. Fortunately, on my last day in the city, I managed to visit the Monday antique market for a brief 45 minutes before heading to the airport. There, I acquired some prints from old newspapers, adding a touch of local history to my collection.
Art museum in nice
It seems to me that the art museums in Nice predominantly feature installations and ceramics rather than traditional paintings.
Nice on Film
In all honesty, the summer ambiance in Nice is exceptionally conducive to capturing every moment on film, particularly with Kodak motion film. The architectural aesthetics and color palette of the city seamlessly complement the yellowish to orangish tones of the film. Regrettably, I didn't have the opportunity to acquire Ektar 100 during that period; otherwise, it would have imparted a distinct ambiance and atmosphere to the entire experience.
Le Jardin Exotique
A garden with a brief yet significant history, it's worth exploring, especially if you have an appreciation for botanical wonders.
Cannes
In my view, it's a city that one should visit primarily if they are a fan of film festivals.

Monaco
A destination where affluent Europeans relish the benefits of a tax-free environment and, notably, a final destination for Formula 1 enthusiasts. Fortunately, I embarked on a boat trip to Monaco, allowing me to savor the picturesque landscape along the shoreline.

AntiBes
I believe this city deserves more attention than Cannes, a small town where everyone seems to know one another.
Gelateria Del Porto
Regrettably, it closed by the time I concluded this blog.

Villefranche-sur-Mer
"Sur-mer" translates to "on the sea," and this is a small town situated along the seashore. It takes only two hours to explore and appreciate all that this town has to offer.
